Won't scratch any floor.  This broom is assembled in the United States with PVC fiber that is imported from Italy and the metal handles are made in the USA.  Note: Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and high heat areas such as vehicles. This can cause the fibers to break down and will affect the longevity of the broom.
